Schools Out!  Calling all kids and families; join us for the first Saturday of summer vacation for a Pollinator Party at Unity Community Center. We are so thankful for a grant from Finley’s Smile for support to put on this family friendly event to start off the summer. Come do crafts, listen to music and learn about the importance of bees and butterflies and other types of pollinators. You’ll even get to plant your own pollinator to take home. We’ll have popcorn, other treats, face painting, and lots of fun outdoors — weather permitting. Once we are done with the activities, we’ll settle in to watch a movie: Maya The Bee Movie (rated G and about one and a half hour long). Kids have to have an adult to accompany them for the movie. You can also check out the new Splash Pad behind the Center (which should be close to opening at that point). It will be a buzzzzing good time. Wear your butterfly and bee outfits if you have them. Everything is free but we ask you to register so we can judge the food and the supplies. To register email: lucinda@unitycommunitycenter.org
