Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to learn about the history of women in Blues music from the award winning Blues singer herself, Teeny Tucker. This FREE EVENT is open to the public. Teeny will weave stories into her performance as she focuses on women who have made musical history. Greek to Go food truck will be available for food purchases as well.
Teeny started singing as a young girl in her church choir and eventually formed her own blues and soul band. She used here nickname, Teeny, and her surname Tucker after her father Tommy Tucker, who wrote and sang the 1964 classic hit song and 2017 Blues Hall of Fame induction “High Heel Sneakers.” Teeny, an Ohio native, has traveled internationally. Her gift for poetry and songwriting has earned her a finalist spot several times in the international Songwriters Competition. Teeny was a 2019 “Blues Hall of Fame” recipient from the Columbus Blues Alliance.
Among many other awards, Teeny was nominated for the 2025 Best Female Blues Artist KoKo Taylor Award from the Blues Foundation in Memphis, TN. We are honored to welcome Teeny to Delaware again for another inspirational performance. Don’t miss out on this performance.
