Kids from the Unity Community Center competed in the Columbus Soap Box Derby Association 2025 Local Championship on Saturday June 14, 2025. Events included an early morning start time from Delaware in order to make the drive to Derby Hill at Big Run Park in Columbus, a good sibling rivalry (Aleeah vs Khloe) and some outstanding results.  Unity Community sent 8 participants and entered in 3 Races including Stock, SuperStock and Masters categories. Everyone had amazing runs. Good news to report that two of our students won! Kitana Clegg (7th grader) placed 3rd in the SuperStock category. James Green (6th grader) placed 3rd in the Masters category.  Congrats to all the participants and a big shout out to the supporters and the team sponsors. We could not do it without you.
